While DePaul's student-athletes are in the midst of enjoying the summer and preparing for the upcoming year, senior volleyball player Caitlin Callaghan took a few minutes to answer some questions and give the readers an inside look at the DePaul volleyball program.� The Blue Demons begin their 2008 season at the Chicagoland Classic hosted by Loyola-Chicago Aug. 29-30.� DePaul and the Ramblers square off on Friday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

Brad Millar Competes in the NACAC U-23 Championships

Millar Places Third in Canadian Track & Field Championships

Brad Millar of the DePaul men's track and field team competed in the 2008 NACAC Under-23 Championships on July 18-20 at the Universidad Aut�noma del Estado de M�xico.� The competition brings together 32 countries from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.� Millar, a Port Elgin, Ontario native, competed in the hammer throw for Canada.

BIG EAST Announces Winners of 2007-08 Team Academic Excellence Awards

The BIG EAST Conference has announced the 23 teams that have been recognized with 2007-08 Team Academic Excellence Awards recognizing the highest collective grade-point averages in each conference sport. Four of DePaul's 15 programs claimed the league honor. Women's basketball, women's cross country, men's soccer and women's tennis held the highest team grade-point average for their respective sports among the league's 16 programs.
