Auditions for the 2025-2026 DePaul Dance Team are set for Saturday, May 10, at McGrath-Philips Arena.

Members of the dance team support DePaul Athletics at home volleyball, men's and women's basketball games. Select team members will also travel to the BIG EAST Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, as well as any NCAA Tournament games.

Auditions for the cheer team will take place from 1 PM – 6 PM, with registration beginning at 12:30 PM. Proper identification and insurance cards are required at check-in.

Tryouts will consist of:

- Meet the Coaches + Program Overview

- Across the Floor Technique

- Learn Audition Choreography + Game Day Material

- Small Brain / Snack Break

- Audition Choreography in small groups

- Solos (30-45 seconds) *Showcase your strengths*

Collegiate Prep Clinics
Interested individuals are also invited to attend either (or both) of our college prep clinics on Friday, April 25, from 6-9 PM and Saturday, April 26 from 4-7 PM.

Prep clinics will include audition choreography for May 10, giving those in attendance an advantage for auditions.

Layout:
Collegiate-Level Instruction for 4 Classes:
DAY 1 = Instruction by our coach as well as special guests
POM + GAME DAY | TECHNIQUE

DAY 2 = Instruction by our coach as well as special guests
JAZZ FUNK + HIPHOP | TECHNIQUE

Dancers can participate in 1 or 2 days with 4 master classes: although both days are highly encouraged for those interested in auditions.

The session will conclude with a meet and greet with our team and coaching staff where dancers can learn more about the University and our dance program!
