Yvette Healy’s softball career at DePaul University ran from 1996 to 1999. Healy was the first freshman to be named All-American in program history and the second to earn the All-American honors in multiple seasons. As a junior, Healy was ranked 12th in the nation, with a batting average of .424 and first all-time in steals (102). The following year, she helped the Blue Demons gain a bid in the Women’s College World Series and set the school record of 54 wins in a single season.
Healy graduated as DePaul’s all-time leader in stolen bases and held the season record for singles. Additionally, Healy was a three-time GTE Academic All-American. Healy joined the 2017 Hall of Fame alongside her teammates Karen Stewart Kanupke and Nicole Terpstra Wondaal.
