Anna Kuiken Popek was a member of Women’s Cross Country and Track Teams from 1986-1991. Popek was named the Most Outstanding Performer for Cross Country all four years and earned All-North Star Conference Cross Country team her final three seasons.

For 16 years, Popek held the indoor record for both the 3000-meters (9:52.34) and 5000-meters (17:07.74).
