Bill Schertler

Bill Schertler was a distinguished athlete at DePaul University who competed during the mid-1950s. From 1955 to 1958 he excelled in cross-country while also demonstrating athletic versatility by excelling as a heavyweight boxer and serving as team captain. In recognition of his broad athletic contributions and lasting legacy, he was inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame in 1978.
