Bob Neu

Bob Neu played for DePaul men's basketball from 1936-1939 and was a two-time All-American for the Blue Demons in 1938 and 1939.Â
After college, Neu played in the National Basketball League, the predecessor to the NBA. He played two seasons for the Hammond Ciesar All-Americans and also played for the Pittsburgh Raiders and the Chicago American Gears. He was a 1941 Second Team All-NBL.Â
Neu served in the U.S. military for three years during World War II.Â
He was inducted into the Basketball Musuem of Illinois Hall of Fame in 1980.Â
