Clarence Telkes

Clarence “Bronco” Telkes was a standout member of the DePaul University boxing team from 1964 to 1967. Competing in the welterweight division, he made key contributions to the team’s success and demonstrated skill, determination, and sportsmanship in the ring. In recognition of his achievements, Telkes was inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame in 1982. Beyond DePaul, he is also honored in the Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in high school athletics, reflecting a lifelong commitment to the sport and to inspiring future generations of athletes.
