Dallas Comegys played for DePaul from 1983-87. By the time of his graduation, Comegys held every DePaul blocked shot record including career blocks (297) and single-season blocks (108). Additionally, Comegys finished his career with a .514 field goal percentage, a .697 free throw percentage, an average of 13.7 points per game and 1613 total points scored. Comegys was named a third-team All-American for the 1986-87 season.
Comegys is one of 13 Blue Demon players all-time to be selected in the first round of the NBA draft. He was drafted 21st overall by the Atlanta Hawks. Comegys was ultimately traded to the New Jersey Nets where he played for the 1987-88 season before joining the San Antonio Spurs for the 1988-89 season. Comegys played a total of 19 professional seasons across the U.S. and Europe before retiring in 2006.
