Diana Vines was a member of Blue Demon Women’s Basketball from 1985-1989. At the time of her induction into the Hall of Fame, Vines was the only DePaul basketball player, male or female, to score over 2500 points (2504) and record 1000 rebounds (1269). She also held eight career and seven single-season school records. Vines was a three-time Kodak/WBCA District IV All-American, two-time North Star Conference Player of the Year and three-time first time All-North Star Conference member.

Vines helped lead DePaul to the Women’s National Invitational Championship in 1988 and earned Most Valuable Player for the tournament. Additionally, she was selected as a member of the WNIT All-Tournament Team in both 1987 and 1989.
