Dick Triptow

Dick Triptow played for DePaul men's basketball from 1940-44 where he was a part of Ray Meyer's first two teams at DePaul. Triptow helped led DePaul to the 1944 NIT Runner-Up finish and lay the groundwork for the following year's Championship. Triptow was a 1944 All-American, alongside teammate George Mikan.Â
Triptow was a member of Chicago's first professional basketball championship with the Chicago Gears in the National Basketball League.Â
