Dr. Patricia Ewers spent 24 years at DePaul as an assistant professor for the English department and eventually became dean of the College of liberal Arts & Sciences and dean of faculties. Outside of her career, she was a passionate sports fan and a big advocate for female student athletes and led the fight to make scholarships available for female athletes at DePaul.
