Erin Hickey Dransfeldt

Erin Hickey Dransfeldt played for Blue Demon Softball from 1994-97. All-American outfielder, Dransfeldt ranked third-best season mark in school history with a batting average of .425. Her 82 hits that same season ranked as the third-best in program history. Additionally, she stole 33 bases in a season which tied her for the accompanying first-place record. In her senior year, Dransfeldt was awarded an Academic All-American (1997).Â
By the end of her career, Dransfeldt held the record for batting avenger and singles. She was also third in stolen bases and on-base percentage. Timed by college coaches and officials at the Olympic softball trials, the stopwatches said Dransfeldt made it from home to first in 2.3 seconds.Â
