Gene Maniola

Gene Maniola was a key member of the DePaul men’s basketball program during the 1940s and is honored as part of DePaul’s celebrated basketball history. He played with the Blue Demons’ mid-1940s teams, including the 1945 squad, and was later inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the 1978 class. Maniola is also listed among DePaul alumni records dating to the early 1940s, reflecting his long connection to the university.Â
