Jean Lenti Ponsetto

Jean Lenti Ponsetto is a DePaul University Hall of Famer whose career spans more than four decades as a student-athlete, coach, and athletic director. She competed in basketball, tennis, softball, and volleyball before moving into administration, eventually becoming DePaul’s Director of Athletics, where she oversaw 14 NCAA championship programs and led major facility improvements, including Wintrust Arena and the Sullivan Athletic Center. Ponsetto also served on national NCAA committees and received the 2023 Women Leaders in College Sports Lifetime Achievement Award. Her leadership, vision, and dedication to student-athletes have left a lasting legacy on DePaul athletics and collegiate sports as a whole.
