Jim Fox

Jim Fox’s career with DePaul Men’s Track and Field ran from 1980-84. At the time of his induction into the Hall of Fame, Fox held the 1500M record (1984) as well as the outdoor records for the 3000M Steeple Chase and the 5000M. Fox’s time of 29:51.44 in the 10000M was a record for 18 years before it was broken in 2002. Additionally, Fox was a member of the 1983 record-holding 4x1600 relay team. Fox was also a member of the 1984 indoor and outdoor distance medley relay team that won the 2-mile run at the Chicagoland Metro Meet.
In his senior year, Fox was awarded the Most Outstanding Cross Country Player (1983-84).
