Jim Lamkin

Jim Lamkin played for DePaul men's basketball from 1951-55 where he appeared in 97 games, averaging 13.5 points. He totaled 1,306 points in his career, graduating as the second all-time leading scorer behind only George Mikan.Â
He served as an assistant coach for the Blue Demons during the 1961-62 season before coaching high school teams at Mt Carmel, DePaul Academy and St. Leo.Â
Lamkin was inducted posthumously to both the DePaul Athletics and the Basketball Museum of Illinois Hall of Fames in 1978.
