Maniola was widely known as a dedicated educator and mentor, serving as a teacher at DePaul Academy and later at Notre Dame College Preparatory High School in Elmwood Park, Illinois, where he influenced generations of students with his commitment to teaching and personal care. Outside of his educational career, he was a proud World War II U.S. Air Force veteran and remembered for his kindness, impact on young lives, and enduring connection to the DePaul community.
