Jim Meltreger

Jim Meltreger was a member of the Men’s Tennis Team from 1960-1963. Meltreger posted a career record of 32-12 at the No. 1 singles spot. Additionally, he won Gold at the Chicagoland Intercollegiate Championship (1961), helping the Blue Demons to the Title (1960; 1961).
Meltreger was known as one of DePaul’s “M&M Boys” alongside doubles partner Pat McKenna. The team won the 1960 and 1961 Intercollegiate Championships. Together, during the 1962 season, the two lost just a single double’s competition.
