Joe Cesena

A Chicgo native, Cesena started his longtime involvement with DePaul as a manager to the Blue Demons Basketball team in the early 1950s for some of the most notable names in DePaul history. Not only was he a manager, but he had a knack for photography and camerawork as served as the chief cameraman for Coach Ray Meyers team for 30 years. Showing his loyalty to the program, he never missed a game during that time span. He was reconized for his long time service, commitment, and loyalty with his induction into the athletic hall of fame and presented with the Special Service Award.
