Kevin McCann

Kevin McCann’s career with DePaul Athletics began at only 19 years old, serving as the official men’s basketball timer from 1971 to 2022. During McCann’s childhood his father, John, held the title of DePaul’s Sports Information Director; eight-year-old McCann sold game programs at Alumni Hall. Throughout his 51 years working for the Blue Demons, McCann only missed a handful of games.
At the time of his induction into the Hall of Fame, McCann also received the Dr. Robert Hamilton Special Service Award. He officially retired from his position as men’s basketball timer in the summer of 2022.
