Kim Williams transferred to Depaul and played for Blue Demons Women’s Basketball from 1995-97. After helping her team advance to the NCAA second round (1966), Williams set a school record by making 13-of-13 shots from the field in the 115-83 victory at Northern Illinois. In her senior year, she was awarded the Ms. Basketball of Illinois. Williams ranked second in the nation with an average of 25.2 points per game. Additionally, she averaged 5.6 assists and 4.5 steals per game. Williams was also a 1997 Associated Press Third Team All-American and ranked 7th in career steals, setting a school record with 131 steals in a single season.Â
Post-graduation, Williams spent 13 seasons playing in Israel, Greece, Poland and Ukraine. In her last five seasons with Ukraine, Williams won three championships on two different teams.
