Latasha “Tot” Byears came to DePaul as a junior-level transfer student from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Throughout her career, Byears averaged 24.5 points and 11 rebounds per game. She was the all-time leader in career scoring and rebounding average while maintaining season records in average field goals (311; 1994-95) and scoring (26.5; 1994-95).
Byears was named Second Team All-American by the Associated Press (1994-95) while helping the Blue Demons to the NCAA Tournament.
