Lorece Collins-White

Lorece Collins-White participated in Women’s Track & Field from 1985 to 1989. By graduation, White held 14 school records in various events, including sprints, hurdles, jumps and relays. At the time of her induction into the Hall of Fame (2009), White still held the records in the 400m hurdles (time of 1:00.02) and the shuttle hurdle relay (time of 1:00.46).
At the end of her junior and senior years, White was named the team’s Most Outstanding Performer in both the indoor and outdoor sessions. Additionally, White was the 1989 recipient of the Jean Nordberg Award for Excellence in Academics, Athletics and Character.
