Missy Nowak Staser

Missy Nowak was the first DePaul softball player to earn All-American honors as a sedond-team honoree in 1994. She went on to earn first team All-America honors in 1995. Nowak graduated as DePaul's all-time leader in nine statistical categories including runs, home runs, hits, triples, total bases, walks and RBI. During her career she was a three-time First Team All-Midwest Region honoree and Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year.Â
As of 2022, Nowak still holds the school career slugging percentage (.637), on-base percentage (.495), triples (20), runs scored (183) and runs batted in (180) records. Her 59 RBIs in 1993 is still a DePaul single-season record as is her .552 on-base percentage from 1995.Â
