Nives Milosevic Horacek

Nives Milosevic Horacek was a leading member of the DePaul Women’s Tennis Team from 1994-98. Horacek earned a 33-9 singles record in the 1997-98 season and finished her career as the all-time leader in singles victories (105). This record would later be surpassed by Rebeca Mitrea in 2016. Additionally, Horacek and her doubles partner, Karla Salopek, graduated as the most successful team in Blue Demon Record Book history with a four-year record of 86-33.Â
Horacek was the first Blue Demon women’s tennis player to be selected for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s All-American Championship. She was also nominated by the All-Conference USA First Team for the National Association of Academic Advisors Achievement Award (1996).
