Otis Dunson

Chicago-land native Otis Dunson participated in Blue Demon Track and Field from 1992-96. At the Great Midwest Conference Outdoor Championship, Dunson placed first overall in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.39. At the time of his induction into the Hall of Fame, Dunson’s record still topped the Blue Demon Record Book and solidified his spot as a 110m champion in the Great Midwest Conference. In his senior year, Dunson also broke the 55m dash record with a mark of 8.08.
Post graduation, Dunson completed his master’s degree in supervision and instruction from Concordia University (2003) and works as an Executive Principal in Chicago public schools (2024).
