Pat Savage was closely connected to DePaul University as both a student athlete and a coach in the track and field program. As a member of the team during his time as a student, he developed a strong foundation in the sport that later carried into his coaching career. Savage went on to serve DePaul as a track and field coach, where he contributed to the development of student athletes and the continued growth of the program. In recognition of his lasting impact as both a competitor and a coach, he was inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame. His legacy reflects dedication to DePaul track and field across multiple roles.
