Patsy Burns

Patsy Burns began her 24-year career with DePaul Athletics in 1979 as secretary for the men’s basketball office. Throughout her time as a Blue Demon, Burns worked with four different basketball coaches, including Ray Meyer, Joey Meyer, Pat Keenedy and Dave Leitao.
Her love for athletics created a family-like atmosphere within the department. Additionally, Burns became a mentor to many student-athletes, supporting them through the ups and downs of college. For her dedication to DePaul University, Burns was awarded the Dr. Robert Hamilton Special Service Award at the 2009 Hall of Fame induction.Â
