Rev. Austin Minogue, C.M.

Rev. Austin F. Minogue founded DePaul’s men’s golf program in 1959 and served the university as coach and administrator for more than three decades. He was instrumental in building the golf program from the ground up and in mentoring generations of student athletes. Minogue also served DePaul as Director of Student Activities and supported campus life through his long service to the university. In recognition of his leadership and lasting impact on DePaul athletics, he was inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame in 1992. The annual Rev. Austin Minogue memorial golf outing and the Austin Minogue golf endowment continue to honor his legacy at DePaul.
