Rev. Thomas M. Croak, C.M. came to DePaul University in 1980 and served the institution in various roles including student, professor of history, and dean of students, developing a deep commitment to student success and access to justice. As associate vice president and founding director of the Croak Student Legal Services Program, he provided vital legal resources and support to hundreds of students, including international and low-income students, helping them understand their legal options while continuing their education. In recognition of his enduring service to students and impact on the DePaul community, Rev. Croak was inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame in 1998.
