Sarah Martz

Sarah Martz finished her DePaul career as a three-time All-American and three-time Academic All-American, playing from 2000-04. A workhorse for DePaul as a utility player, she remains the program's all-time leader for complete games in a season in 2004 and ranks second all-time with 32 career shutouts. Martz was the 2001 Conference USA Player of the Year as she led the Blue Demons to the regular-season championship title. During her career, DePaul won the regular season and tournament title in 2002 and 2003, advancing to three-straight NCAA Tournaments. Â
Additionally, Martz was a four-time NFCA All-Mideast Region First Team and the 2004 NCAA Illinois Woman of the Year. She went on to tryout in 2004 for the USA Softball National Team. Â
