Thomas Monforti

Thomas “Doc” Monforti served DePaul University and DePaul Academy for over two decades, including as head athletic trainer from 1950 to 1969. He worked closely with Blue Demon teams, introducing advanced rehabilitation protocols and supporting athlete performance. Monforti also contributed professionally as a trainer for the Chicago Cardinals (NFL) and Chicago Packers (NBA). In recognition of his lasting impact on DePaul athletics and sports medicine, he was inducted into the DePaul Athletics Hall of Fame in 1976. Tom passed away on September 28, 2017.
