Tom Brown

Tom Brown was a member of the Men’s Track and Cross-Country teams from 1977 to 1980. In 1977, Brown set the 600-meter record (1:21.3). His senior year, Brown also set a record for the 500-meter with a time of 1:04.3 (1980). After the 1978-79 indoor and 1980 outdoor seasons, Brown was named the Most Outstanding Player for Track and Field.Â
At the time of his induction into the 2007 Hall of Fame, Brown continued to hold the 500M and 600M records.Â
