Whitey Kachan

Edwin John "Whitey" Kachan played for DePaul men's basketball from 1943-1948 where he was a member of the second-ever team under hall of fame coach Ray Meyer. Kachan helped the Blue Demons to the 1944 NIT Runner-Up finish.
Kachan played one season in the BAA as a member of the Chicago Stags and Minneapolis Lakers, but was a member of the Lakers 1949 Championship team.
