Samayoa Paces Men's Cross Country

CHICAGO - Luis Samayoa finished first for DePaul and 15th overall for the DePaul men's cross country team at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational at Montrose Harbor on Saturday, September 30.

Samayoa, a junior from Chicago, finished 15th out of 444 runners with a time of 25:44 to lead the Blue Demons.

Blue Demon junior Chris Birchall made his season debut by finishing second for DePaul and 25th overall in 26:05. Senior Eric Giandelone took 34th in 26:18.
