The DePaul throwers provided valuable team points with their efforts in the shot put and 20-pound weight throw. Montia Gardner was third in the shot with a toss of 39-10 and placed second in the weight throw recording a distance of 50-8 ¾. Sue Stoffel claimed third and Meghan Greely landed fourth in the weight throw. Stoffel launched a throw of 45-10 ½, while Greely was close behind with a 45-10.
