Ryan 6th At USA Indoor Championships

ATLANTA - DePaul senior Carey Ryan competed in the 35-pound weight throw at this year's USA Indoor Track and Field Championships held in the Georgia Dome March 2-3.
Ryan placed sixth with a toss of 19.56 meters (64 feet 2 1/4 inches). The effort came on his fifth toss in the finals and bettered each of his previous marks by at least two feet.
The senior had sat out the indoor season for DePaul and had continued to work on an individual basis. He will compete for the team during the upcoming outdoor season.
