Men's Tennis Defeats Rutgers in Regular Season Finale

DePaul opened the match by sweeping
Graetz earned his 15th victory of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Zakrevsky at No. 3 singles. The fifth match saw Komar improve his season record to 19-6 as he knocked off Tervooren, 6-1, 6-1. Danny Wilson posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Kazakin-Kuteyev in the sixth match.
The Blue Demons led the first and second singles matches when the competition was shortened.
DePaul (17-5, 3-0 BIG EAST) closed out its regular season on a 10 dual winning streak and heads to Tampa, Florida next week for the 2007 BIG EAST Championships. The tournament begins Thursday, April 19 and runs through Saturday, April 21.
