Cross Country Wraps Up the Regular Season

PEORIA, Ill. The DePaul men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the Bradley Classic today at the Newman Golf Course. The men, who hold a regional ranking of No. 14, placed second, while the women took sixth.
Jakub Kolacz was DePaul’s top finisher for the first time this season, posting a season-best 8K time of 25:30 to place eighth overall. Matthew Graham crossed the line just one second behind him, to place 10th. Placing 19th, Greg Udzielak recorded a time of 25:44, marking a new season-best for the junior. Rounding out the top-five finishers were Luke Rygh and Rob Morgan. Rygh placed 22nd with a time of 25:55, while Morgan crossed the finish line in 26:18 for 39th place.
With a team score of 90, the Blue Demons finished ahead of regionally ranked opponents Drake (No. 10) and No. 9 Illinois State. Winning the title was No. 2 Iowa State.
