Blue Demons Complete Midwest Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The DePaul men's tennis pair of Bartosz Jozwiak and Ben Hartmann bowed out of the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional on Sunday. The Blue Demon pair reached the Sweet Sixteen of the tournament.
Matching up against the Ohio State duo of Chase Buchanan and Justin Kronauge the DePaul pair was unable to establish a rhythm as they dropped the match 8-2. Buchanan and Kronauge entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed while Hartman and Jozwiak were the No. 14 seed.
The loss was the first of the season for the Blue Demon pair. Hartman and Jozwiak are 6-1 this season while they are 18-5 all-time in doubles play.
The Blue Demons close out the tournament portion of their schedule at the WMU Vredevelt Invitational Oct. 30-Nov. 1. The three-day tournament will be played at Western Michigan's Sorensen Courts and/or at the West Hills Athletic Club.
