Matthew Graham Tops the Leader Board at Notre Dame

Graham, who won last week's Bradley Open, once again was the first competitor to cross the finish line. He kicked it into high gear in the final meters of the race, coming in nearly six seconds ahead of Notre Dame's Jake Walker and finished in a time of 24:53.9.
Jakub Kolacz placed in the top-10 for DePaul, taking ninth place behind a time of 25:37.3, while Luke Rygh clocked a 26:20.3 for 20th. Max Clink and Greg Udzielak rounded out the Blue Demon top-five, placing 51st and 54nd respectively.
Mary Cate Quiett paced the DePaul women's team for the second consecutive week, logging a 15th place finish with a 5K time of 18:57.4. Toni Salvatore logged a time of 19:09.0 to take 20th, while Stephanie Hughes was the third Blue Demon to cross the line with a 27th place time of 19:16.6. Claire O'Brien and Kelly Pickering were the final point scorers for DePaul, clocking times of 19:32.0 and 19:35.7, respectively.
The DePaul men scored 135, while the Fighting Irish won the title with 24. On the women's side, the Blue Demons posted 150 points. Notre Dame secured the sweep with 20 points.
Both teams return to action on Fri., Oct. 2 when they travel back to South Bend for the Notre Dame Invitational.
