Today In Blue Demon History:
On October 26th, 2004 The DePaul senior middle blocker, Janet Goreham was named Conference USA Co-Player of the Week announced by the league office. The senior averaged 2.11 blocks per game in DePaul's victories over TCU and Houston he previous week. Goreham led DePaul to its first sweep of weekend matches in C-USA play this season. She recorded a pair of double-doubles finishing the weekend with 30 kills, 25 digs and 19 total blocks (6 block solos and 13 block assists). Goreham was a block assist shy of a triple-double in the Houston match (16 kills, 11 digs, nine block assists). Click Here for the full story.

Sports Report:
Women's Soccer: Elise Wyatt and Ashleigh Goddard teamed up to make a little history on Thursday. Wyatt's two goals and Goddard's pair of assists led DePaul to a 3-0 victory over Villanova---the first BIG EAST Championship road win in program history. DePaul (9-9-2) advances to the BIG EAST quarterfinals for a noon match on Sunday at Georgetown. Click Here for the full story.
Men's Soccer: In conjunction with its 2012 Senior Day, the DePaul men's soccer team welcomes USF to Wish Field this afternoon for the Blue Demons' regular season finale. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. CT in Lincoln Park. Click Here for the full story.
Women's Volleyball: DePaul volleyball hosts two of its three remaining home matches this weekend at McGrath-Phillips Arena when South Florida comes to town Friday, October 26. The Blue Demons will then face Pittsburgh on Sunday, Oct. 28 Match start is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. against the Bulls, and the Blue Demons will turn around to tip with the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Men's Tennis: The DePaul men's tennis team will kick off play in another weekend tournament on Friday, sending three individuals and one doubles team to the Northwestern Wildcat Invitational at the Combe Indoor Tennis Center. The tournament is set up with two singles draws and a third portion of round robin as well as one doubles bracket. Click Here for the full story.
Cross Country: Leah Bohr and Andrew Craycraft are keeping their fingers crossed about Friday's BIG EAST Conference Cross Country Championships in the Bronx, N.Y. "This could be an historic race for the men's team if they all show up and do what they are capable of doing," assistant cross country coach Bohr said with fellow assistant coach Craycraft nodding in agreement. "If that happens, we could have our best BIG EAST finish as a team."Ninth has been our best finish. Eddie McDaniel is going to set the tone for the race.
