
Men's Tennis Falls to Nevada, 5-2

EUGENE, Ore. - The DePaul men's tennis team grabbed the doubles point and got another win from freshman Sten Leusink, but ultimately dropped a 5-2 decision to Nevada on Friday at the UO Student Tennis Center.
DePaul is now 1-2 overall in dual match play, while Nevada improved to 3-1.
The Blue Demons got off to a good start, taking the doubles point with wins in two-of-three matches.
Senior Mathias Hambach and junior Filip Dzanko edged the ITA Mountain Region's seventh-ranked doubles pair with an 8-7 decision over Fernando Sunago and Victor Ouvard.
At third doubles, the tandem of sophomore Adam Reinhart and freshman Paul John also picked up a victory, 8-4, against Robert Allen and Andrew Poustie.
Leusink, who is now a perfect 3-0 in singles play, defeated Sunago in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3 for the Blue Demons' lone singles point.
Next up for DePaul will be a 6:00 p.m. tilt against Oregon tomorrow before wrapping up the weekend with a Sunday match against the Idaho Vandals at 11:00 a.m.
