Today In Blue Demon History:
On April 26, 2007, DePaul sophomore Dunja Antunovic was named to the 2007 BIG EAST Conference Women's Tennis All-Tournament team the league announced on Wednesday. Antunovic was one of 10 singles players recognized by the BIG EAST coaches for her outstanding performance at the Conference Championship in Tampa, Florida. Click here for the full story.

Sports Reports:
Women's Softball: What Kirsten Verdun has accomplished over the last 28 hours is nothing short of amazing. DePaul's junior ace pitched her third consecutive shutout on Thursday in leading the Blue Demons to a 4-0, nonconference victory over North Side rival Loyola at Cacciatore Stadium. This came right after Verdun had pitched both ends of a doubleheader on Wednesday in Queens, N.Y., shutting down St. John's 11-0 in five innings and 4-0. Click here for the full story.
Women's Tennis: DePaul women's tennis placed two on the 2013 All-BIG EAST rosters and Matea Cutura earned the program's second consecutive Freshman of the Year award, announced the conference office on Thursday. Click here for the full story.
Men's Tennis: After another standout season at first singles, DePaul men's tennis junior Filip Dzanko was named to the 2013 All-BIG EAST Men's Tennis Team on the strength of a unanimous vote by the conference's coaches, the league announced on Thursday. It was the second straight BIG EAST accolade for the Split, Croatia-native and the fifth straight year at least one men's tennis student-athlete received the BIG EAST recognition. Track & Field: DePaul is headed for a track and field tripleheader this weekend beginning with the prestigious Drake Relays on Friday in Des Moines, Iowa.The Blue Demons are entered in a total of 10 events Friday and Saturday in what many consider the premier track and field meet in the country.
