Cross Country Teams Place Eighth at BIG EAST Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The DePaul men's and women's cross country teams each logged eighth place finishes on Saturday afternoon at the 2014 BIG EAST Championships in Indianapolis.
Villanova won the men's title while Georgetown secured the women's crown.
On the men's side, Eddie McDaniel paced DePaul with a time of 25:11.1, good enough for 30th overall. Chris Korabik (26:04.2) followed in 45th and Jake Pecorin took 54th (26:20.9).
In the women's race, Paige Skorseth finished in 55th with a time of 23:09.8 and Courtney Tedeschi finished right behind her in 56th (23:10.6).
DePaul will next compete at the NCAA Midwest Regionals in two weeks.
