Cross Country Concludes Season at Midwest Regional

PEORIA, Ill. -- The DePaul cross country teams concluded their 2014 campaign on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Peoria, Ill.
The event was hosted by Bradley University.
The women took 31st overall out of 32 teams while the men logged a 27th place finish out of 29 teams.
On the men's side, Eddie McDaniel led the way, taking 116th and crossing the finish line in 31:58.1. Eric Shan (32:33.4) took second on the team and Alex Campanella (32:36.5) was third for the Blue Demons.
Courtney Tedeschi logged a 145th-place finish thanks to her time of 22:16.4 and Elizabeth Wasserman followed with a time of 22:29.2. Senior Taylor Hynes cross the finish line in 22:35.4.
The event was DePaul's eighth and final competition of the year.
