Cross Country Takes Aim at National Catholic Championships

CHICAGO -- The DePaul cross country teams will participate in the 2014 National Catholic Championships on Friday afternoon in South Bend, Ind.
The meet is hosted by the University of Notre Dame and will start at 3:15 p.m. (CT).
DePaul is coming off a pair of seventh-place team finishes at the Country Financial Illinois State Invitational. In the individual standings, Paige Skorseth placed 39th overall to lead the Blue Demons on the women's side. In the men's race, Chris Korabik paced DePaul with a 33rd place finish.
The National Catholic Championships will be the third meet of the season for DePaul. Following the race, the Blue Demons will have just two competitions, the Greater Louisville Classic (Oct. 4) and the Bradley Classic (Oct. 17), before the 2014 BIG EAST Championships on Oct. 31 in Indianapolis, Ind.
