Cross Country Announces Season Schedule for 2015

CHICAGO - The DePaul men's and women's cross country teams announced the 2015 season schedule Friday morning.
The season opens up with the Tom Zimmer Open in Madison, Wisc. on Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. CT.
DePaul's cross country teams both captured eighth-place finishes at the BIG EAST Championships last season. This season, the Blue Demons run in five events before the 2015 Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31 in Mason, Ohio.
After the Tom Zimmer Open, DePaul heads to Normal, Ill. for the Country Financial Illinois State Invite on Friday, Sept. 11. One week later, the Blue Demons compete at the National Catholic Championships in South Bend, Ind. on Sept. 18.
To open up October, DePaul runs at the John Flamer Invitational on Oct. 3, hosted by SIU-Edwardsville. As a final tune-up before the conference championships, the Blue Demons take part in Pre Nationals in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday, Oct. 17.
On Nov. 13, DePaul will compete at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Lawrence, Kan. for a chance to run at the NCAA Championships. The regional races are set to begin at noon CT.
