Men's Badger Opener Results | Women's Badger Opener Results

MADISON, WIS. - The DePaul men and women's cross country teams commenced their 2015 season at the Badger Opener on Friday, September 04, 2015 in Madison, Wis. The women finished fifth in the overall team standings, while the men took sixth.

Junior Paige Skorseth was the leading finisher for the Blue Demons women's team for a second-consecutive year placing 20^th overall with a time of 16:09.9. Katerina Cirone crossed the finish line in 24^th for DePaul at 16:30.4.

Freshmen Jessica Harris and Christine Mujica placed 30^th and 31^st, respectively, to open their collegiate careers with DePaul.

Daniel Peterson, one of the newest members to the men's team as a freshman, placed 24^th overall in 19:59.6 and was the Blue Demons' top men's finisher.

Sophomore Chris Korabik was right on Peterson's heels and took 25^th with a time of 19:59.9. Fellow sophomore Jeremy Lozano rounded out the top-three for DePaul in 28^th at 20:07.0.
