
No. 74 Badgers Defeat the Blue Demons

Madison, Wis.- The DePaul men's tennis team fell 7-0 to the No. 74 Wisconsin Badgers in Madison, Wisconsin this afternoon.
DePaul now holds a 2-6 dual season record going into its first BIG EAST matchup next weekend against Georgetown at home.
The Badgers remain undefeated at 6-0 in dual season play.
In doubles, Josef Dodridge and Lamar Remy defeated Paul John and Conor O'Meara 6-3 at No. 1. Sten Leusink and Nathan de Veer fell to Jakhongir Jaolov and Jose Carranza at No. 2 6-1 while Alex Galoustian and Max Renke's No. 3 match went unfinished at 5-3 to Alexander Kokorev and Darius Mackenzie.
In singles, Leusink fell at No. 1 to Dodridge 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-3), Kokorev and Galoustian met again at No. 2, for Galoustian to drop 6-3, 6-2. De Veer lost to Remy at No. 3 6-1, 6-3, John fell at No. 4 to Osgar O'Hoisin 6-3, 7-5, while O'Meara dropped to Jose Carranza 7-6 (7-3), 6-2.
Renke competed for the first time in dual season, but fell at No. 5 to Darius Mackenzie 6-4, 6-1.
DePaul next matchup is against Georgetown on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
